</p><p>This has led us to assume that HB was destroyed at Lima, and RB at Seattle. When Vladivostok is mentioned though we see what is supposedly Oblivion Bay, which is in California. If this image doesn't line up with the speech, why should the other two? That's not just it though, of course. Not only is there never any other reference to the destruction of HB and RB at either of these location, but in the PRU: Ascension novel, Ou-Yang Jinhai recalls HB and its pilots dying in <i>Bangkok</i>. I looked through the Jaeger Combat Dossiers of Gipsy, Cherno, Striker and Crimson, an couldn't find anything on Lima and Seattle. I did, however, find out that Crimson killed Hidoi in <i>Bangkok </i>on 20/01/2021.
</p><p>Now, of course having the four main Jaegers not involved in Seattle or Lima does not straight up mean there were no Kaiju there. Another available Jaeger could have teamed up with HB in Lima, or it could have been Crimson finishing off Hidoi in Bangkok after the Kaiju killed HB. It could have been a different Kaiju altogether at Bangkok, and Hidoi/Crimson may not have been there when HB was. Not everything in Ascension is canon, there are a few mistakes which have to be discarded as non-canon, do you think this is one of them? Jinhai says that he met the pilots of HB before they died, if this is the case and HB was destroyed in 2021 in Bangkok, then he would have been at most four years old when meeting them. Again, it's possible the HB-Bangkok destruction happened later than that, so he could have been older if it wasn't Hidoi.
</p><p>I couldn't get anything on RB. So what we have is:
</p><p>- Nothing on RB(?)
</p><p>-The possibility of HB either being destroyed in Bangkok (either by Hidoi or another Kaiju at another time), or Lima
</p><p>- The "Vladivostok" image is actually not in Russia and instead Oblivion Bay, or it is in Vladivostok and isn't Oblivion Bay
</p><p>The images shown may just have been to visualise the destruction, and possibly weren't supposed to line up with the speech. I'm quite unsure here so I want to give you three options:
a) They were destroyed in those locations, and the images <i>do </i>line up with the speech (then what about Oblivion Bay?)
b) They weren't destroyed in those locations, and Ascension's right about HB with RB yet to be determined (images <i>don't </i>reflect the speech)
c) We can't decide on this matter, and must wait for a future source of canon media to be produced that will confirm this (assuming one is eventually released)
