They have been out for quite a while now and they just released a new figure. This toyline also has the first ever Raiju figure! Each set comes with 1 comic from Tales of the Drift and Aftermath. The new figure has a comic from Tales from Year Zero. Sure, they aren't big but they are decent figures overall and I hope they release more of them. Maybe some with Scunner or Mutavore, or even Hundun?

I wish we got more Neca figures, especially a Slattern and Raiju. Here's my concepts for these two plus an ultimate Cherno Alpha (including some fire effects for the incinerator turbines).

Some kaiju were very effective in combating the Jaegers. Knifehead's knife went through Gipsy like a heated butter knife through butter. Otachi's acid melted through Cherno no matter how durable its armour was, and her flight was clearly very useful. Leatherback's EMP crippled Striker, the stronger Jaeger, in an instant. Slattern's size and strength speaks for himself.
So knowing how effective these kaiju were, why didn't the Precursors just send more clones of Knifehead, Otachi, Leatherback, or Slattern? We know it's possible because Newt's vision showed several Knifehead copies lined up next to each other. Even complete clones wouldn't be necessary; just their abilities would suffice. Perhaps they could even mix-and-match them; imagine the horror of Otachi with an EMP on top of all her other abilities. Or Slattern with acid and an EMP. Leatherback's EMP is really a gamebreaker here. Put one on even a weak kaiju like Trespasser and that kaiju would be able to take out any non-nuclear Jaeger.
So instead of sending Raiju and Scunner to defend the Breach, the Precursors could have simply sent another Leatherback to take out Striker (again) and let Slattern finish the job.

<p>I really like the design of this Kaiju, especially the head, and after watching the concept art of this beast for the first time, I said to myself: "This motherfuckin Kaiju is gonna rock in the film", and when the moment of the truth from this Kaiju arrived, WHAT THE FUCK? All I saw from this Kaiju is that he just rip off the arm of Gipsy, and then been cut in a half by the sword so easilly!! I was expecting Raiju attacking some ramdom city with some unknown super powers and then having some freaking and awesome fight with some Jaegar (Theoretically: Crimson Typhoon) and show to everyone that he's also a great badass Kaiju, but Nooooooooo... They just make him look like some imbecile pawn protecting the Breach and that's it!! Why, Guillermo? Why did you ruin my delusions?
