<p>There were certainly no "sister" units of any Jaegers. There's so much solid evidence against this, and only weak theories for it. </p><p>That line certainly stirred up a lot of discussion though. I'm sure Pentecost was referring to it being the last of the T-90 series of Russian Tanks, as you brought up. Assuming there were no more T-90s being produced in 2025, which makes sense considering Russia would rather fund its Jaegers than its army (as would any other sane government during the Kaiju War), Stacker's most likely suggesting this is the last of the Russian "tanks" to be produced, especially considering Cherno's tanky design. </p><p>Another (possibly more) likely answer is that Stacker's referring to it being the last Russian Jaeger standing, with all the other Russian Jaegers being other "T-90s". </p>

<p>It's not at all obvious, many people don't realise the Anteverse is actually dying. We get to see inside Newt's head in the first film's novelisation, and learn a lot from his first drift with the Kaiju brain that we don't see in the movie itself. The Precursors don't have a sustainable nature to them, they consume worlds and move on, with Earth seeming to be the next best option for them at this point. This explains their desperation to take it from us; they need a new planet before they completely destroy theirs (the Anteverse is a planet). The radiation in the Anteverse will only get worse over time. It's what ulimately killed Raleigh, and most likely would have done the same to Mako if she wasn't ejected from Gipsy before passing through the Breach. </p>

<p>Hi there, no worries at all. </p><p>I agree with you on all that, sounds about right. We can expect the 2035 Kaiju to have a strong increase in toxicity/radiation due to a few reasons: </p><p>1) More time for the Precursors to enhance the Kaiju's blood concentration/composition ("blood to mass ratio", as it's referred to in Uprising), especially in order to target rare earth element reserves. </p><p>2) The Anteverse would be even more polluted with radiation as time has passed, compared to 2025 and before. </p><p>3) Essentially adding onto point 2), Gipsy's detonation <i>may</i> have had an impact on the Anteverse's level of radiation, increasing it. The self-destruction did appear to be one hell of a nuclear explosion, after all. </p><p>Ultimately, it's very likely these Kaiju ranked high on the Serizawa scale due to more potent radiation and toxicity levels, with their mass playing less of a role (especially with regard to Raijin and Hakuja). </p>

<p>I'd like to come back and shut this down, as the answer seems to be option b). </p><p>First off, this line from the first fim's novelisation clearly shows the cities being referred to are not related to the Jaegers: </p><p>“We are losing Jaegers faster than we can make them,” the Working Group’s designated speaker said. “And cities. Lima, Seattle, Vladivostok..." </p><p>Scenes with destroyed Jaegers are shown in the film, as city destruction + Jaeger destruction has a bigger impact than just showing city destruction. There is not at all any relation between the regions mentioned and the destroyed Jaegers shown. This is supported by the fact that Oblivion Bay is shown when Valdivostok is mentioned. </p><p>Furthermore, Uprising's novelisation informs us Romeo Blue was destroyed in Panama City in 2020. Whilst we don't yet know whether Horizon Brave was destroyed by Hidoi in Bangkok in 2021, it's safe to say it was indeed Bangkok (whether by Hidoi or another Kaiju at another time) and Ascension is correct. </p>

<p>They are of course in the same timeline, and the same canon. Individual continuity errors (especially contradictions/conflicts in the novelisations) are to be discarded as non-canon. </p><p>

<p>That Kaiju in the middle is unconfirmed. I don't believe it's ever been seen before visually, however we may know it by name from the novelisations. Unfortunately, we're unable to confirm it as a known Kaiju. It may not have ever been mentioned before, or it has but we're unsure of which Kaiju it is. </p>
