I don’t think Ajax is dead, because the ppdc seems to have made duplicates of jaegers, like the precursors made dupes of the kaiju.
Did apex destroy horizon? The travis’s find horizon in Australia, when it says horizon died in Lima. Or is the graveyard in Australia a jaeger graveyard? Or... is the horizon in Australia a copy of horizon brave. (Factory scene in the first movie with two horizons.)
