They're not completely different. Mutavores head and neck are redesigned a bit and its tail is a little too short. But I wouldn't go as far as saying they are completely different things with the same names?
If I may ask could you point out what makes you say they're completely different?
I'd argue that their decent enough if you want a high res solution, but I do agree that their are some notable differences.

Do you measure to the bottom of the head or the top of the head?
Also I personally think this position works better for onibaba since in the other one she's hunched over while in most official depictions she's standing up straight.
