Jaeger Assault Specialist[1] is an occupation given to an officer that trains cadets in the Jaeger Academy.
History[]
Assault specialists are required to know the ins and outs of what it takes to bring a Kaiju down using a Jaeger. Such information is provided by the K-Science division of the PPDC. Specialists ensure that trainees and pilots are prepared for combat with a Kaiju, teaching them offensive and defensive tactics (attack and retreat) that can be utilized in their fighting styles.[1]
