Auckland[note 1] is a city in New Zealand's North Island and the largest urban area in the country. It was also the location of a major Kaiju attack in 2024.[1][2]

On August 28, 2024, the Kaiju Hound emerged from the Breach and attacked the city of Auckland. However, before it could make landfall, the Kaiju was intercepted and killed by Striker Eureka.[1][2]
