Cabo San Lucas (commonly referred to as Cabo) is a city at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur. It was attacked by the Kaiju Kaiceph on June 1, 2014.[5][4][3]

The attack was the third instance of a Kaiju attack in the aftermath of August 10, 2013[6] and the attack in Manila in 2014.

The military attempted to lure the creature away from the city, but failed. They were forced to attack the kaiju Kaiceph with a nuclear strike that killed it at the expense of half the city's inhabitable areas.[7] Its remains were removed from the city and transported on the aircraft carrier John C. Stennis.[2]
