The Blueprints of Cherno Alpha
Cherno Alpha (Черный Альфа Cherniy Alfa) is a Mark-1 Russian Jaeger. Piloted by husband and wife duo Sasha and Aleksis Kaidonovsky, Cherno Alpha was the last of the Mark-1 Jaeger series and the oldest Jaeger still active in combat before its destruction in 2025.

Early Combat History[]
Cherno Alpha's first mission is against the Kaiju Raythe in the Okhotsk Sea on November 6th, 2018. On April 21, 2018, Cherno Alpha is deployed alongside Crimson Typhoon against a Kaiju that makes landfall in Osaka, Japan.[1] May 25, 2020 marks the date of their second mission together alongside Striker Eureka to fight a Kaiju that attacks Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.[1]
On April 7, 2014, Cherno Alpha fights and kills a Kaiju that targets the Kamchatka Peninsula.[1] Five months later, Cherno Alpha is deployed against the Kaiju Taranais in Queen Charlotte Sound on September 14, 2024.[1] Taranais would be Cherno Alpha's sixth and final kill before its destruction in 2025.
Closure of the Jaeger Program[]
Upon arriving in Hong Kong alongside Cherno Alpha, the Kaidonovskys listen to Ukrainian Hard House as they settle down in the last Shatterdome. When the Wei Tang Brothers, Crimson Typhoon's pilots, question their taste in music, Sasha bluntly tells the triplets that if they have a problem with Ukrainian Hard House, then they have a problem with life. She also adds that this is something that she and her husband are willing to "fix".[2]
