Chris Batista is an American comic book artist. He was one of nine artists involved in the production of Legendary Comics Pacific Rim: Tales From Year Zero.

Biography[]

Batista graduated from the Manhattan School of Visual Arts, having studied under Klaus Janson, who helped obtain for him his first professional work.[1]

Titles Batista has contributed to include Steel from 1993 to 1995,[2][note 1] Spider-Man 2099 in 1994, Spaceknights from 2000 to 2001, Thunderbolts from 2002 to 2003, The Legion from 2003 to 2004, JLA in 2005, and has provided art for several issues of DC Comics weekly year-long comic book series 52 from 2006 to 2007.

He also penciled an arc of DC's Robin with Chuck Dixon.[3] He has recently penciled the second volume of Booster Gold, starring the eponymous time-traveling hero.
