"Crabcakes" is a Kaiju of undetermined Category that emerged from the Breach in 2035.[1]
Biology
Crabcakes has grey, textured skin, and six eyes - three each on the side of its head. The Kaiju has two arms and a lobster-like lower body. Its head is crowned with two horns.[1]
History
Pacific Rim Uprising
Crabcakes emerges from the Breach created by the six Kaiju-Jaeger Hybrids engineered from Liwen Shao's Drone Jaegers.[1] During its emergence, the Hybrids' operating systems are shut down, disabling their power cores. The Kaiju is cut in half, its remains are left floating on the surface of the water.[1]

- Crabcakes is the first Kaiju killed by the collapse of a Breach.
- Crabcakes is never officially named in the Pacific Rim Uprising.
- The Kaiju was given two nicknames: "Crabcakes" and "Surf & Turf".[2]
- According to DeKnight, the lower half of Crabcakes's body looks like a lobster.[2]
- According to DeKnight, Crabcakes is meant to be about the size of Raijin.[3]
- According to DeKnight, Crabcakes was meant to be a category IV or V. A scene in the film explaining the Kaiju was the largest that could be sent through a Breach was removed.[4]
