del Toro Con[1] (stylized DEL TORO CON or DEL TORO CON 2014) is an official online fan convention hosted by Guillermo del Toro's defunct official fansite, DelToroFilms.com. The convention took place July 8 through July 13, 2014.

- "DEL TORO CON is an online convention for fans of writer / director Guillermo del Toro (HELLBOY, PACIFIC RIM, PAN’S LABYRINTH). The convention grew from the online support of Guillermo’s official fan site, DelToroFilms.com, as well as his enthusiastic following across the world for his work in films and books. The convention itself is in its fledgling year, and is supported by a dedicated fan base – many of whom have been friends and followers since DelToroFilms was founded in 2004 – as well as many of the artists and collaborators that have made Guillermo’s visions a reality. We thank you all for your participation, and we hope you enjoy the experience!"

History[]
The first del Toro Con 2014 was founded with the support of DelToroFilms.com. Not unlike Jaegercon, the online convention is free and was created with the intention of celebrating the body of work created by director Guillermo del Toro.[2]
Participants are required to register at the official del Toro Con website and create an account on a social media platform such as facebook or twitter. Using the hashtag, #deltorocon, participants can interact with the event holders.[2]
