Denjin is a Kaiju that attacked Ho Chi Minh City on May 25, 2020.[1][2][3]

Denjin emerges from the Breach and heads towards Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, being faced by the Russian Mark-1 Cherno Alpha, the Chinese Mark-4 Crimson Typhoon and the Australian Mark-5 Striker Eureka.
During the fight, the Kaiju is killed by Cherno Alpha.[1][4]
Trivia[]
- Denjin is the Kaiju identified as HC-20 in the Jaegers' combat dossiers, having only had its name revealed in Pacific Rim Uprising: Ascension.[4]
- Due to the fact that Crimson Typhoon and Striker Eureka's combat dossiers have more kills than their canonical count, it is unknown whether Denjin is officially counted as their kill or not.
- "Denjin" (電人) can be translated as "electric person" or "lightning person", indicating that it has electrical powers, something seen in other Kaiju.
