Unsourced material may be challenged and removed..The Jaeger Drones were an army of white drones controlled remotely so that no human losses would occur in combats. This would allow there to be Jaegers covering most of the world, and would be able to defend cities from the Kaiju. These robots were implanted with Kaiju biotech, and grew into Kaiju-Jaeger Hybrids, where they attacked the shatterdomes, and tried to open breaches. They were all destroyed by a failsafe function.

These drones are highly capable of performing group strategies and exercise capacities. By itself, one was enough to prevent the large stone doors in the shatterdome from closing until another came to fully open the doors.
Confirmed weaponry includes missiles which can also be launched in an orbit with rotating formations.
