Life in Shadow Basin[]
Kevin was among the settlers who lived in Shadow Basin. He was friends with other teenagers his age, hanging out with them at a popular spot by the waterfalls. When Taylor Travis came searching for his sister Hayley following an argument, he reported that Hayley was last seen heading towards the rim of Shadow Basin and that she looks pretty upset.
The Travis siblings' discovery of the Jaeger Atlas Destroyer would result in the discovery of the settlement by the Kaiju Copperhead, which proceeded to rampage and destroy the settlement. Kevin managed to outlast the other settlers and fled, only to face a cliff and be cornered by the Kaiju. Paralyzed by fear, Kevin managed to lock eyes with the Travis siblings on top of the cliff as Copperhead's foot came crashing down on him.[1]
