Lorne Balfe is a Scottish music producer and composer for film, television, and video games. He is the composer of Steven S. DeKnight's Pacific Rim: Uprising, replacing John Paesano.[1]
Biography[]
Balfe is best known for his compositions for Assassin's Creed Revelations, Crysis 2, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
His other works include, Skylanders, Terminator Genisys, iBoy, and 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, DreamWorks animated films Home and Penguins of Madagascar.
Like Ramin Djawadi, Balfe is affiliated with Hans Zimmer's company, Remote Control Productions, and has collaborated with Zimmer on multiple projects. Balfe sometimes composes under the pseudonym "Oswin Mackintosh".
