Aftermath (Part Four)[]
In Los Angeles, Joshua Griffin pursues who he believes to be Martina, his deceased ex-girlfriend. One of the Sisters of the Kaiju blocks his path and attempts to sway him to the side of the Kaiju. Joshua shoves her aside, and when he admits to killing Kaiju as a Jaeger pilot, others members of the cult attack him. He's nearly swamped by them when Pena appears piloting the Rogue Jaeger Brusier, and begins to fire on the crowd. Afraid that his partner will hit Martina, Joshua jumps into the fray and rescues Martina before she can be killed by Bruiser's CCLO cannon. Pena kills the frozen crowd and declares the area the territory of Mech Czar.
Later, Joshua and Martina take refuge in a café where they talk about what happened to her. When he saw Martina last, she broke off their engagement and was doing well on a successful television series called Undercover. The show was doing well in Brisbane until it the set was caught in the path of Striker Eureka's battle with Rachnid. Four thousand people, including Martina's crewmates, were killed. Without a job, Martina headed for the states, where she joined the Sisters of the Kaiju in Los Angeles. Joshua tries to convince Martina that the group is conning her, but she refuses to listen to him.
As she leaves the café just, the "Baby" emerges from the underground. It begins attacking the city, Joshua tries to stop it using loose pipe and is knocked aside by the Kaiju. When he tries to recover, Martina knocks him down, choosing to protect the Kaiju from harm.
Hannibal Chau (Part Four)[]
Back at Chau Industries, Elora Reddy explains that the Human-Kaiju Hybrid is the first "home-grown Kaiju" she created to survive incubation. Hannibal Chau questions the stability of her creation, but Elora reassures him that the implant meant to curb its aggression will work. If it fails, they can detonate the explosive inside the Kaiju and kill it. Hannibal Chau suspects that additional tissue samples from a Kaiju will help him prove his hypothesis on Alzheimer's disease, and Elora flippantly promises that the success of her creation will guarantee Chau's return to power. Chau threatens to kill Elora if she tells anyone about what they're doing, unaware that he's being spied on by one of Elora's assistants.
Outside, Yeun is monitoring the perimeter when that the Sisters of the Kaiju (dressed like ninjas) breech the property. His partner, Xue, checks in on him as his throat is slit. The Sisters of the Kaiju storm Chau's building and begin killing everyone inside. When Xue is taken hostage by Elora's assistant, one of the Sisters of the Kaiju, she declares they've come to kill "the abomination" Elora created. Chau shoots the woman and Xue without hesitation.
Returns to the lab to find Elora under attack, and fires on one of the Sisters. Another injures him with a shuriken and prepares to kill the hybrid Kaiju in the name of "the dark lord" of the Kaiju with an explosive. The explosion shatters the tank Baby was trapped in, setting it loose. Baby kills the Sister and proceeds to escape the lab.
I am Pentecost (Part Four)[]
Jake Pentecost recalls when his father brought Mako Mori home to live with the Pentecost family. Jealous and competitive, Jake struggled to best Mako at everything they did together. As they entered the Pan Pacific Defense Corps, Jake receives harsher treatment under the organization's training coaches while Mako is personally mentored by Pentecost. As the Drift begins to collapse, Jake calls for his father's help.
