The following excerpts are from Alex Irvine's novelization of Pacific Rim Uprising. Excerpts from the novelization provide backstory and detail on events that take place within the universe as realized in the novel. Unlike the Pacific Rim novelization, Uprising places greater emphasis on editorials over memos and research documents from the Pan Pacific Defense Corps, and dossiers have been completely omitted.
As with other Uprising transmedia, conflicts and discrepancies in the canon may arise as a result of production oversight and use of outdated information.
