Pharaoh is the name of an unused Kaiju concept from the Pacific Rim draft script.[1]
Biology[]
In addition to its name, Travis Beacham describes Pharaoh as a mix between two symbols often represented in Egyptian mythology; the scarab and the bull, with the mandibles and horns of a rhino beetle.[1]
Development[]
Pharaoh is one of the first Category V Kaiju to engage Tacit Ronin when it makes landfall in Odaiba, Japan. Pharaoh tackles Tacit Ronin and tries to crush Tacit Ronin with its mandibles, but Tacit Ronin is able to hold the Kaiju off and cuts Pharaoh in half with little issue using a laser beam.[1]
