Jaeger Psych Analyst[1] is an occupation given to an officer responsible for evaluating cadets in the Jaeger Academy.
History[]
Analysts are required to ascertain whether or not the minds of future Rangers are Drift compatible before pairing them with a potential co-pilot. Analysts are responsible for pairing a potential pilot who joined without a partner with another loner based on personality tests and neurological analyses.[2]
Analysts help trainees and graduated pilots work through their fears and demons, and cope with new ones, to ensure a successful Drift each time they pilot the Jaegers.
