Miles presents the workers of the wall with ration books.
Ration Cards are a form of compensation for workers during the Kaiju War.[1] For workers on the Anti-Kaiju Wall, ration cards were color-coded red, green, and yellow.
They are determined how much a worker would be given. Ration cards were given out in ration books[2], and punched like a ticket when a worker visited the commissary office.[1][3]
