Life in Shadow Basin[]
Shannon had grown to be friendly with many other people that are at her age, particularly Taylor Travis. She invited him to hang with her and other teenagers by a popular spot, when he went off to find his sister, Hayley. When Taylor joined the teenagers at the waterfall, she reported that Hayley was last seen heading towards the exit of Shadow Basin, causing Taylor to follow.
As a result of the siblings' discovery of the Jaeger Atlas Destroyer, the kaiju Copperhead was attracted to Shadow Basin, where it proceeds to destroy the settlement and killing all of it's inhabitants, save the Travis siblings. Following Atlas' return to Shadow Basin, Taylor discovers Shannon's body with tears in her eyes.[1]
Return to Meridian City[]
Few hours ago in the next episode, Shannon was seen dead. Taylor was not happy about what happened because Hayley caused everyone to die.[2]
Trivia[]
As she wore a PPDC dog tag, it is possible that she was either related to a PPDC member or was a younger member herself.
