The City and Borough of Sitka[2], formerly New Archangel[note 1] under Russian rule, is a unified city-borough located on Baranof Island and the southern half of Chichagof Island in the Alexander Archipelago of the Pacific Ocean, in the U.S. state of Alaska.
History[]
Sitka was a major location for the Anti-Kaiju Wall commissioned by the United Nations. It was the then-present occupation of retired-pilot, Raleigh Becket, who worked on the Wall as a means of supporting himself.
2025[]
Shortly after the Jaeger Program was dismissed by the United Nations, Marshal Stacker Pentecost went in search for Raleigh Becket in Alaska. He eventually located the former pilot in Sitka working on the construction of the Anti-Kaiju Wall. While there, Raleigh Becket witnesses the Mutavore attack in Sydney, Australia moments before Pentecost's arrival on the construction site via helicopter.[1]
