The following is a list of known discrepancies connected to Stacker Pentecost within the Pacific Rim and Pacific Rim: Uprising film and external canon.

Known Inconsistencies

Pacific Rim

  • According to Pacific Rim: Man, Machines & Monsters, Stacker had a record of two deployments as Coyote Tango's pilot before his retirement.[1] In Pacific Rim he tells Raleigh assisted in on over a dozen missions before he was retired.[2][note 1]
  • According to Stacker's personnel dossier, he was twelve years old when his father was killed in 1995. This contradicts Stacker's established 1985 birth date (mentioned in the novelization and Man, Machines & Monsters) and would suggest Stacker was born in 1983 and not the former. This is likely an error on part of the author or editor.
  • In an early early biographical draft for Stacker Pentecost, his birth date is listed as 1983.

Pacific Rim: Uprising

  1. One possibility is he likely had two tours of service as a Ranger, over the course of which he conducted "over a dozen missions".
