Character?[]

Should we really be listing the A.I. in the "Characters" template? As far as I know, there is nothing to indicate it is anything more than a computer with a voice. -Reaper with no name (talk) 06:20, August 20, 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, because its Glados reincarnated in a GiantRobotsVSGiantMonsters universe ~Basilisk Centauri, cant remember when....

That's not how you write a signature. You put four tildes (~) and the wiki does the rest (or, you know, hit the signature button).

Anyway, having the voice of GLADOS means nothing. To qualify as a character, it must be demonstrated that the A.I. is actually an intelligent entity, rather than simply a synthesized voice. Chuck's dog doesn't get to count as a character, so at the very least, it must be shown that the A.I. is closer to sentience than it is. -Reaper with no name (talk) 07:08, August 20, 2013 (UTC)

I'd agree with this assessment, honestly. Still kinda disappointed how muted they made her voice. Maybe it was just my theater, but I could barely hear her over the crashes. Lily Ford (talk) 08:20, August 20, 2013 (UTC)
Second what Lily said. Also, AIs can be counted as characters even when they have no measurable sentience; Boloverse fiction featuring pre-Mark XX units proves this. That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error. (talk) 20:23, May 23, 2014 (UTC)
