Operation Pitfall or Battle of the Breach?[]
In the first film, the operation is called Pitfall when they finally closed the Breach from the inside. However, by Pacific Rim: Uprising, it is instead called as the Battle of the Breach, while the events occuring is still the same: Three Kaijus emerge, all were defeated, Striker detonated itself, Gipsy able to enter the Breach, and being destroyed. - Actually, the first film doesn't even give the operation a name (I've been just going through the older articles and just removing any all reference to "Operation Pitfall"). But, it's definitely called "Operation Pitfall" in the first film's novelization,. Uprising more or less rendered that null and void by calling it "Battle of the Breach". I was planning to just rename the article, and simply have Operation Pitfall redirect to the non-canon memo that mentions it. Lily Ford (talk)
