Tomokazu Sugita (杉田 智和 Sugita Tomokazu?) is a Japanese voice actor.[2][3] He provided the voice of Raleigh Becket in the Japanese dub[4] of Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim.[5]
Biography[]
Sugita is better known for his role as Gintoki in Gintama, but has also provided his voice for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Ragna the Bloodedge in Blazblue, and Joseph Joestar in the 2012 JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle.
Sugita is also one of the three hosts on the radio show Bururaji (BlueRadio) promoting the video game Blazblue which is produced and released on Nico Nico Douga. He voices the character Kazuhira Miller in Metal Gear Solid: Peacemaker, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
In 2010, he starred in the live-action film Wonderful World with fellow voice actors, Mamoru Miyano, Tomokazu Seki, Rikiya Koyama, Yuka Hirata, Showtaro Morikubo and Daisuke Namikawa.[6]
