Yvel Guichet is a Haitian American comic book artist and illustrator. He was one of nine artists involved in the production of Legendary Comics' Pacific Rim: Tales From Year Zero.
Biography[]
Guichet is a Haitian American Comic book artist, who began working in the industry at the age of nineteen. He was hired by Valiant Comics and worked for the company from 1992 to 1993. During that time, he met Valiant Comics artists Barry Windsor Smith, Don Perlin, and Bob Layton.[2]
In 1998, Guichet worked with DC Comics. He worked on various Batman titles before working on his own superhero miniseries, The Relative Heroes, introduced into the DC Comics universe. He worked on the Batman episode, "Joker's Favor", wherein Harley Quinn makes her first appearance in any DC Comics-related medium.[2]
Guichet's other projects include Aquaman, Justice League, Legion Worlds, Man of Steel, StormWatch, Trinity of Sin,and Evil Dead. In addition to his work on Tales From Year Zero with Legendary Comics, Guichet also worked as an illustrator for the 2014 Godzilla graphic novel, Godzilla: Awakening.[2]
